This is divergent to the comparison to the other realty where she is Swedish, having complete human rights, holding extreme social equality. These factors are an extreme influence in her life and thus the artistic form that has evolved in her practice.
Moving to her maternal homeland of Sweden at the age of eighteen, she found work within the field of specialist education, working with people with autism spectrum disorders and ADHD. Extremely engaging and rewarding work, Jebara continues to work within this area which inspires her practice, by being on the front line seeing the lack of understanding and awareness that society holds.
Developing mental disorders in early life, an issue that is generally swept under the rug, she gained awareness of other young Palestinians who suffer from complex mental health disorders.
